Another option is to stay at a farmhouse near Volubilis and Moulay Idriss. This allows you to have a nice rest from this day excursion. Friends of ours run this farm. The owner, Azzeddine Zayr is Moroccan but speaks Dutch as well, because he worked and lived as a chef in Utrecht for more than 20 years. Excellent food and a pleasant stay in a very rural, ecologically responsible, and beautiful environment. A must visit.
