Restaurants and other tips:

Keep in mind that alcohol is not served everywhere. You can buy alcohol in shopping mall Carrefour. Prices for alcohol are considerably higher than in most other countries. Of course, you can buy your favorite beverage at the airport before leaving for Morocco. At the medina, it is best to carry your purchased alcohol in a plastic bag. This is to avoid offense. By the way, most restaurants do not mind if you want to consume your purchased beverage here. Do ask for this first to avoid any misunderstandings.

The medina is very quiet on Fridays, compared to the other days. Friday is the weekly prayer day and as a result many stores in the medina are closed. A good day to take pictures!
