Chez Khadija is a centuries-old traditional ‘dar’ (house) that has been completely renovated and opened as a ‘guesthouse’ in 2020. The renovation has been done with local craftsmen who have restored our house to its former glory with care and attention.

Chez Khadija is located in the heart of the UNESCO medina, 30 meters from the `Talaa Sghira`, one of the two medina’s main streets.

The famous ´Bab Boujloud´ (Blue Gate) is only 10 minutes walking from our house. You will find the world famous Karaouine Mosque at only 300 meters away.

Chez Khadija is the perfect location because of its proximity to all the famous sights in the medina and of because of the house’s hospitality and facilities.

Chez Khadija has a beautiful patio with a fountain, 3 bedrooms with quality beds, 3 bathrooms, 3 lounges with seating, a separate toilet, fully equipped kitchen, and a beautiful roof terrace with magical views over the 12th century medina of Fez. A lovely place to enjoy a drink after a day strolling in this magnificent UNESCO city.

Chez Khadija is suitable for 2 to 6 people and is nonsmoking. Pets are not allowed inside. You rent the entire house.

Free breakfast is served on the roof terrace or in the patio. Given the practically eternal sunny weather, breakfast with the unique view over the medina is a nice start to the day. On request, lunch or dinner can also be arranged for a fee.

All rooms in the house are decorated with care and style. Moroccan / Andalusian woodwork and mosaic are still everywhere in the house. The bedrooms have air conditioning and good Wi-Fi connection.

The atmosphere in the guesthouse is one not to forget.

If you arrive at the airport or at the station of Fez, we can arrange for a well-known and reliable cab driver to pick you up within half an hour at one of the two nearest parking lots, picked up by a Chez Khadija staff member to accompany you from there to the house. You will be welcomed with a cup of tasty mint tea. Mint tea is commonly known as “Berber whiskey”.
