This place is a tourist attraction and known for its indigo blue painted houses. A must see. The town is located at an altitude of 557 meters in the Rif Mountains, about a 3-hour drive from Fez. It is also called the most photogenic town in Africa. Enjoy shopping in small, hidden stores.

The Spanish Mosque provides a fantastic view of the entire Chefchaouen medina. The climb to the top takes 15 minutes and it is recommended just before sunset. The starting point is at Ras El Maa on the edge of the medina. The driver will ensure an unforgettable day.
